FAQs
Do you accept Insurance? Will my sessions be free?
1
A: Yes! I am in-network with several major insurance providers. Under the Affordable Care Act, many plans cover diabetes medical nutrition therapy at $0 out-of-pocket cost to you as part of your preventive care benefits. When you book your initial consultation, I will help you verify your insurance benefits so you know exactly what is covered before our first official meeting.
How do virtual and in-person appointments work?

I offer full flexibility to fit your schedule. If you live near College Station or Bryan, we can meet face-to-face at my local office. If you prefer the comfort and convenience of home, we will meet virtually using Healthie, an easy-to-use, 100% secure, and HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. You can even mix and match appointment types based on your week!
